NEED HELP: Appradio 3 was installed and only shows a blank screen

So I had my appradio installed and it dmshows only this blank screen. They showed me a new one and it worked just fine. Mine however was unresponsive and none of the buttons worked either. 2003 Lincoln ls please help me out

If another one works but yours just shows black screen then it looks like faulty headunit, bring it back to where you bought it?
