Hi everyone, I need some  assistance with my new 6000 I just had installed today.

I am in the midst of trying to get access to certain system functions and the options are grayed out (ie. Navigation Settings on the map).

Any assistance would be appreciated!

OK, well, I want to deactivate the Speed Warning.  I referred to the user manual which tells me to go to the navigation settings, however when I get there, the option I need (Settings) is greyed out and I can't select it.

I don't know why.

Are you attempting to do this with car setting still or while moving?

Sitting still.  It isn't just that option that is greyed out, it's a few different menus, can't type in addresses for GPS, etc...

Parking brake engaged with parking brake wire connected?  ...or bypass 'module' installed? ...or software bypass enabled?

You probably don't have the parking wire connected properly. I had this issue with mine when I first set it up.
