Can you mirror your XM app from your iPhone?

Just bought the AVIC-8000NEX with the XM tuner for it and I'm thinking, if you can mirror your iPhone on the screen, is it possible to use the XM app to listen instead of subscribing to another tuner? I haven't installed the Pioneer yet so I'm sorry if it's a stupid question. Thanks

you can run Apps just like any other apps, but you can't control it from the HU, Pandora and Bluetooth audio you can control from HU.
