I've connected my power correctly as it work in av1 source mode. When I change it to camera and put in reverse. I get a blank image.
Am I suppose to connect to brown and not yellow av in the back?Please help.

Nex5000 backup camera doesn't work. Only works in source mode

This has been discussed in this forum ad nauseum -- it's also in the user manual. Use the search function (it's brown btw).

Yes I get that buy why is there a yellow with that mark that says camera. I don't get the whole yellow and camera output

Possibly because video cameras are about the only portable devices left that have an analog (composite) video output nowadays.

The NEX units offer two cameras front and rear, rear is denoted by the brown connector. RTFM

Actually the input is dual purpose... though you can only connect one source at a time. Installation manual labels it as video input or camera input. When you set AV to Source, it couples the video input with the RCA stereo audio inputs. Setting AV to Camera does not.
