PAC-swi ps Not able to program?

I wire up the device as per instructions.

I get it to accept what version I am doing, and then I turn the car off and then back on and it verifies the version by blinking the correct number.

When I go to program the controls the led does not stay on? What am I missing, might be something stupid because I am getting tired.

I have 2006 zephyr. I use the white wire tied to 150ohm resistor to inside purple wire tied to car at pin 18(swc+). I grounded the cars (swc-).

What am I missing to program my buttons??

Thanks,

Burn

make sure you follow those instructions exactly and read them a couple of times to make sure you're doing each step in the right order.

I followed those steps. The step I am having trouble with is Step 7.

When I turn the car back to IGN, then press the mode button, the LED turns on but does not stay on?? What would cause that? It is supposed to stay on until a button press makes it turn off.

The only thing different was that I installed a 150 ohm, because that was the smallest that came with it.

Might contact PAC.

that might be your problem. Hit up radiohack. resistors are cheap enough.

Yeah I am going to give that a shot, because I don't see what else.

I grounded the (swc-) line on the cars side, so that should be good.

Not sure what's up.

According to a tech response from PAC-Audio the resistor is the problem.

I need a 100ohm resistor.
