I was wondering where is the D3 made?

i have the d1 and it is made in japan. I was wondering if the d3 was made somewhere else and that would be the answer for the lower price.

the answer to the lower price is that they cut a lot of the excess out. For one, they only have 1 dvd rom now as oppose to two. The screen is smaller and doesnt fold out. Instead, you have the dvd rom slot right in the front.

I'm going to go with it's made in a building, a very big building with lots of people in it.

And that building is in a little country called China. At least thats what mine says

yeah well, they cut alot of stuff, but that aint going to reduce the price dramatically. I mean, machine makes them, 1 slot or 2 slot doesn't make so much difference in the labor.

The country of origin makes alot of difference in the price.

Gotta love China. If it weren't for China, I wouldn't be able to afford half the stuff I own.

isnt Mexico cheaper? or do Mexicans have unions now too?
