Has anybody had a warning come up that the unit is overheating and that it is going to shut down?

Mine did this and now won't start.

Make sure the fan's airflow is unobstructed in the back of the unit.  If it is, check it and make sure it works.

Yeah check the fan, I had the same problem and the cables were blocking the fan. It would run about 45 minutes to an hour then shut down. Once I pulled it and readjusted the cables it worked fine.

Thanks guys, I will check that. I did start the truck up again last night and did see the unit come alive. I shut it down right away, didn't have time to look at it. But at least I know it is not toast.
