Can anyone confirm post-1.06 update that App Radio still works in iOS 8.0.2?? Since CarPlay seems to be working with iPhone 6 I am curious if App Radio et. al. is broken as was warned by Pioneer a few weeks ago.

1.06 update for 5000 works fine on my iPhone 5 with 8.0.2

4000 NEX - iPhone 6 - 8.0.2 works great.

Nex 8000 8.02 upgrade and everything works fine.

Well I upgraded my iPhone 5 to 8.0.2 and Carplay works fine, but AppRadio is stuck on "Launch the appradio app" and even though the app is running I cannot see the apps. It worked for like 30sec then just stopped. Hmmmm.

I am unable to get AppRadio to work on a 4000NEX with iPhone6, 8.0.2, and Pioneer 1.0.6 update. CarPlay works, but when I try to launch AppRadio I get a message along the lines of "incompatible USB." I called Pioneer and they said this is a known issue with iOS 8.

However, it sounds like AppRadio is working for many people here. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I'm running AppRadio on USB2+HDMI with an Apple HDMI adapter and Lightning cable. I've tried running in on USB1 as well, same error.

Use usb 1 and change the smartphone setup to Apple adapter
