Pioneer 4000 update other then iPhone

Any reason to update if you only use the 4000 with an iTouch?

For myself, i like to have the latest firmware on any of my electronics. I know  there were a few things other than CarPlay on the firmware update, but i think they have to do with the AVIC models more than our 4000NEX.
