When I turn my f960 dab it lights up shows the pioneer screen and also shows the nav load up screen and just does that on a loop as if corrupted, I've tried the reset button and nothing is there a way of hard resetting it or can the OS be reinstalled

If you bought the item new, I would take it back as it looks like its faulty. If the heard reset is the as the F920, then it will be MODE+TRK.

It is a known bug in firmware version 1.04.
