So currently I have a z110bt. I have had it for a couple of years now. But I am thinking about upgrading to the NEX model. 

I was wondering if the NEX model had the same power connector pin out (not sure what the correct term is) as the z110bt. Long story short, I have a specific adaptor that I use so I did not have to splice wires between the car and the unit. If the NEX uses the same connector, I can just plug and play and just sell my z unit with the new connector. It'd make it pretty much plug and play, which would be nice 

I want to say yes... But it's been a couple of months since I installed my 8000nex. MMy suggestion is to wait it out for now. Many of us have complaints and issued with the Nex series. IMHO, the Z series are still better.

Thanks for your input dangitZIN. I just read some of the issues that were posted in this section. 

I still love my Z but carplay makes it enticing.
