Anyone know when iOS 8 and iPhone 6 will be supported? I can't get any app to work at all.

It's working for me...but intermittently and buggy. It's weird. Sometimes it works great sometimes I can't get it to start. Keep force quitting the apps and go into your smart phone set up in the Pioneer and flip it from the USB back to the AV adapter. Also reset and re-pair your Bluetooth on both ends.

Where do you see that? The website still shows 1.06 as the latest firmware version.

European models have different name than NEX line in U.S.
If AVIC-5000NEX is the U.S. name of European AVIC-F960, then the answer is yes.

You should NOT use European firmware updates. From what I understand, they are not interchangeable.
