Rdio hadn't been listed as a potential CarPlay app on Apple's site, so the update with CarPlay support was quite unexpected.

I found you can use Rdio through Bluetooth if you activate it on your phone. You can't access your stations, but it will play and you can press the forward and backward buttons on the head unit.
For those that don't use CarPlay but would like to use Rdio. Not the best solution, but it works.
I would like to see CarPlay work thru Bluetooth also.
