does anyone know what this 9.99Euro one off fee is for car mode?

I have app radio 1 and not updated to iOS8 yet.

after aupeo updated i no longer has access to everything i had before

i used the "free trial" but could then only access a german radio station 

(using the app normally undocked from the app radio it works normally)

so in my mind it seems as though aupeo have added a 9.99 fee for using in car mode full functionality.

i don't mind paying for it as its pretty awesome BUT don't want to pay for it if its not needed.

I'm in the U.S. but I think the same applies. I think you have it right. Aupeo's "CarMode" is now $9.99, when it used to be built-in for free. It is what allows you to control the App from your head unit. 

I went to settings > account management > upgrade or change service and checked the CarMode Trial for $0.00. I don't know when the trial ends, but when it does I probably won't pay the fee since I may go to CarPlay soon and Aupeo isn't even supported on CarPlay (yet?). 

yeah - seems right.

i guess i'll have to pay and see what it does

well it now works with appradio1 BUT

1. Skip song no longer works

​flippin annoying given i just had to pay 9.99Euros for the privilege 

My trial ended. I find it difficult to pay $9.99 for what used to be free. While I still had the trial I noticed that skip no longer worked either. I didn't even try switching genres. In the end I deleted the app rather than pay for car mode. 

i love the app as we dont have pandora in the UK and stock radio here is terrible

9.99 euros is nothing really (2 pints of beer) for a life time usage - i just want it to work so i have dropped Aupeo tech support an email
