I read somewhere that the D3 is not symetric? is this true?

Do you guys mean the case of the unit is not a perfect rectangle? if not how does it fit into dash kits etc... lopsided?

I hope they are not talking about the fact that the screen is towrds the right of the unti. They should have noticed that in the pics................... i assumed they meant the casing itself was off

yes that is what they are talking about. They are saying how the dials on the left force the screen to be pushed to the right. In the old D1/D2 units, there was an equal column on both sides, and the screen sat dead center.
