1. Turn your phone on silent/vibrate. You'll get the notification but it won't make any noise.

So actually the music entirely stops whenever I am in reverse, no matter what the source... If you are making a multi-point turn, it will drive you nuts as it comes on and off.

just a shot in the dark here, on #2. In your camera settings on the nex. make sure your rear view camera is set to on and your camera setting is set to off. This should make the rear view camera come on and your music to stay on.
