So.. I didn't do the install so I have no idea how to remove this thing...

I popped the plastic face off, and there are 4 tity philips screws... I removed those and tried pulling the unit out, but its definetley in there good...

Any idea how this thing comes out?

Thanks,
Steve

Ok, so you're an idiot...

Anyhow, this is a perfectly legit question, as probably half the people on here may have had their units installed by a shop, as I did. My shop, also would not flip the toggle switch to bypass Pioneer's "safety" features, so I did that part myself...

Anyhow, the 4 little screw are really the only thing that holds it in... The unit pulls right out, but its very TIGHT, and needs to be moved back and forth to be removed...

BTW, the toggle switch trick works... re-run the light green parking brake ground to anywhere but the parking brake for a ground, and voila!
