I just bought a new Toyota FJ Cruiser that has the D1 installed at the dealer. The FJ has an AUX input in the dash for an IPOD. The FJ owners manual says the AUX input will not work with an aftermarket headunit. If this is the case is there another way to connect the IPOD other than paying for a 50 dollar pioneer part and 50 dollars to install? Currently, I am using an FM transmitter with lots of static noise. Please advise on any other mods/hacks, functions that can work on this unit.

The factory jack can be made to work with the d, it just requires a bit of splicing is all. Have done that with several toyotas, hondas, and fords.
