I had to cut the upper part of the din and the back. it is a snug clean fit.

I don't know what it is but for some reason the D3 looks much smaller in person than the pics on the net.

Looks good, but yeah, it looks like you ate a glazed donut just before putting your fingers all over the screen.

yea there are screen protectors. There are a couple posts naming manufacturers, so try searching for screen protectors.

Do you have any install tips? Im thinking about doing this on my f150. And as far as painting your dash, i wonder if i could do this to make the d3 look inconspicuous. Acually paint the d3 to match the dash instad of the other way around
