Basically I have no idea on how to install this device. Is it basically just taking out factory player and connecting wires and matching colors to the new device or do i have to touch fuses and rip up carpet. Pease help!!!!

I would recommend a professional install, unless you have prior experience with installations

i got no idea where my VSS wire is. I am quick with learning about electronics but i have never done anything like this so i dont know what to do. I need like a walk through or a video on how someone did theres. the video doesnt even have to be of the installation of the D3. any unit will do so that I can at least be introduced. does neone know a link to where i can see a video? oh ya and i know how to take my dash apart. whats next?

to take the radio out of the 98-02 accord... if you want pics and word for word go to www.metraonline.com enter your car info and pull up the dash kit... then click on the install manual...

but you take the 2 screws from underneath the radio&a/c trim bezel... then pry out the clock assembly and remove the screw from behind it... then that whole panel that surrounds the radio unsnaps... then remove the 4 screws that hold in the factory radio and unplug the harness and antenna
