Hey this is my first post... ive been doing my research, cant decide between the D3 or the Z2... is the Z2s features really worth the extra almost $1000? I dont know but I love the idea of the hard drive... ANYWAYS!!!!

A very close friend of mine owns a stereo shop and he called Pioneer on speaker phone... after they verified his account, he asked his cost on the new Z2

"Whats the cost on the new Z2" - Stereo Shop Owner

"Your cost is $1540........" -Pioneer Retailer Sales Rep

"Ok, and when will it be available?" - Stereo Shop Owner

"We will have them in stock near the end of April" - Pioneer Retailer Sales Rep

"ok thanks!" - Stereo Shop Owner

Just so you guys know that your local guys CAN and are ABLE to wheel and deal on prices...

D3 is $739 if you buy it from a distributor. Less if you buy from Pioneer direct

Yup employee cost on the z1 when I worked there was 1346.

Damn I want to work at best buy now near the debut date of the Z2.
