Is there any way to get rid of the security message the unit (AVIC HD1BT) displays on startup ?

No there is no way you can get rid of that. It is there for legal issues so that pioneer doesnt get sued by any user for his careless mistakes.

well... ANYTHING... can be hacked... but i believe as of right now... no ones done it yet
