My avic-d3 isnt displaying radio text. Any ideas?

None of the AVIC's support RDS.

interesting...one line on page 86 calls the box below the radio station for "current radio text"

Hmm just called Pioneer Electronics and was confronted by a very rude tech support person and he claims that the D3 does not support RDS.

Hay anyone come up with a solid answer on wether or not the D3 plays radio text?
I do see on page 86 where it mentions it............

It does not. Pioneer hasn't made anything in years that has RDS

yeah pioneer for sure doesnt display radio text
