So when you bypass the N1 do you just ground the wire that is supposed to go to the parking brake. Or do you have to hook it up to the parking brake and ground the brake? They seem the same to me. Or is it different.

As said above, just ground the wire coming out of the N1. If you were to hook it up to parking brake and then ground the wire, you'd most likely get a constant warning from your car about the parking brake being on (light/buzzer/etc).
