I am trying to pair the BlackBerry Preal 8100 (Cingular) with AVIC-Z1 with no luck. Tried to pair from the Z1 and the BBerry but they will not pair. Any trick to this?

It worked fine on my Pearl.

You cannot push your address book though

Maybe go get the latest desktop software and the latest handheld software (both available from your provider!) and update your Pearl.

like 4.2 or some crap

I have done it 2-3x since i got the perl, but most recently like 2 weeks ago.

install desktop

install handheld

run desktop

choose update

backup config if you want.

takes 20-30 mins maybe...
