I did the bypass and everything seemed to be ok...no parking brake error message and video is all good - but I still cant get the address book in the navigation menu..any ideas? I've already reset (both with the engine off and while running) and still nothing...am i missing something?

are you sure you did it correctly? Have you triedplaying a video past 15mph?

Sounds like you didnt do it correctly.

i did everything per the instructions...the connection status in the navigation even shows that the parking brake is engaged...I do get video past 15 mph - thats what confuses me...If I didnt do it right - then i wouldnt get video right?

Are there any addresses in your address book yet?

when you ground the wires do you ground each one individualy or do you ground all three together with factory ground? also has ne1 put a switch on the pagking break or is that pretty much pointless.

It doesn't matter whether you ground them together or individually, ground is ground. As for a switch, seems like a waste unless you are pulled over and want the warning screen up instead of changing sources

It is probably best to ground them all together to make sure everything has the same potential difference. This also eliminates the chance of using a bad ground.
