I did a search on the XDV-P6 and could not find an answer to my issue.

I have the XDV-P6 attached to the Z-1. The dvd changer was working fine when I played dvds. Then I decide to play a cd in the changer, that worked fine too. Well when I switched back to the dvd; the dvd played but only the sound came out and there was no picture.

The only thing present on the screen was the menu from the dvd changer that had the track listing for the dvd.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how to fix it. I look throughout the manual and that is not much help.

let me ask you something, did you have a combination of CDs and DVD players in the same magazine?

I did have both cds and dvds previously. Now I just have the dvds in the changer. This is the single din dvd changer.

So it plays DVDs just fine now?

It plays dvds, but you hear only sound and but you don't see the video from the dvd. On the screen you just see the menu of the avic and it shows

info like C001 or C002 like I'm going through the chapters.

So I'm wondering if there is any button to press on the dvd remote to get it change back to normal.
