Ok i figured this would be super easy....flip the switch at the bottom of the headunit and id be driving watching dvds no problem.....but nope.

I flipped the switch and nothing....it still gives me restriction of not being able to see dvds in the front seats when car is not in park....type of message.

All it takes is to flip the switch right? what am i missing....

Grounding the parking brake wire.

grounding the green wire to any bolt thats to the body right? i would have to introduce another wire attach it to that green wire and find a bolt..?

Stick it to the black wire in the harness.

yeah definitely use the ground in the wire harness. Make your life a little easier.
