I have a '99 Lexus ES300 and the wire harness Crutchfield supplied does not connect with my car. Any mobile audio gurus out there know what will fit my car? I don't think my car uses a standard Lexus wire harness, so I wasn't that surprised when Crutchfield didn't supply the right one.

which harness did they send you? the standard toyota 2 plug harness? Metra 70-1761? Or the amplified toyota harness 70-8112?

That or it's the 8113. Can you take a picture of the radio harness?

I really love the forum here. Everyone's so eager to help out! Anyway, I ordered one from eBay that seems to look right. I also stopped by a local mobile audio shop and they confirmed that the one I ordered should be the right one for my car.

Just make sure you let the people at cf know. They unlike some other places actually listen to people when they're told the info they have for a car is incorrect.
