Does anyone know if it's possible to use a dvd changer with the avic d3? I have a VW 06 with the factory nav and center console cd-changer. My d3 is on its way and I was considering swapping out the cd changer with a dvd changer instead. Any thoughts?

OK, I found one made by pioneer, but I'm not sure if I would be able to install this vertically into my center arm rest console. It has a one din slot so I'm not worried about it fitting - I'm worried about it working. This is the changer:

Think it would work? It doesn't say anything about a vertical install (probably because there aren't many people interested in such an install).

The installation manual does say that the unit can only be mounted at most 30 degrees from horizontal. Which means you can't mount it vertically.
