That is a problem with the format of the jpg. There are hundreds of options when you save a jpg. Not all programs used to make a jpg will show you those options, but there are tons of them. The Z1 doesn't like some of the ways a jpg can be saved.

If you used photoshop and do a "save as" type jpg, you can get an image corrupted error message. If you are using photoshop do a "save for web page" or open the image in ms paint, and do a save as jpg with a new name and burn them. I don't know what is in that jpg that the Z1 doesn't like, but if you do either of those you should be fine.
