Hello all..... new member here !!!!!! Ok here it goes. I drive an 89 honda prelude with no computers...My speedo is a direct connect to the tranny ( replace the cable already) and the cruise control is vacume driven. Would anyone know how to make the gps in my newly refubed AVIC N2. That is without paying about $250 from pioneer? I already looked on EBAY etc...

I know someone knows the answer, and sorry if it has already been posted (i am new with searching blogs.....at 36  ) Although I am very mechanical and this will not be my first radio install. I have also done the bypass to the head unit already thanks to the help of this blog.

Thank you in advance for the help.

im pretty sure it will be accurate enough without connecting your nonexisiting VSS. Should only be a couple feet off. The only times you really need it is if you have no gps signal.

If you're that intent on hooking up a vss, try pm'ing Misfit. He might be able to get you an alpine speed sensor that'll work.

Thank you very much guys. I thinks now that I know it will prob. be ok the way it stands I will try that first. If I find that no vss doesn't cut it I will pm Misfit. once again thank you.
