My A4 Audi has a Bose system (amp and sub). Has anyone hooked up a D1 or D2 to a 2002 A4?

I just had the D3 installed in my 02 A4, but all my speakers are aftermarket.

I can post some pics if you want to see what it looks like. It is a great unit and it looks perfect.

I installed my D3 last weekend and this link gave a lot of usefull advice:

There you can find original AUDI manuals that show Radio pinouts (including BOSE) and also how to take the dashboard apart. Only issue is that it is in German, but the sketches and pinouts should be self explaining.

you need vw/audi keys to take the factory deck out or go to a local shop they will have some that they may let you use.
