Can you Use an External Dvd Player Like one of those Portable Ones On a D1? I wouldnt mind getting one to keep in the Glovebox and all.

 

Also Is there anyway to shut the D1 Off? (sounds like a stupid Question but I havent figured this out since I had it) or to mute it Fast with one Button.

Yes you can use an external DVD player, just run the audio and video cables into the A/V input on the D1 and don't forget to turn on that input in the setup menu.

 

You can turn it off by holding down the source button for a couple seconds. The screen will still be lit up but you can turn that off too by holding down the video adjust button on the bottom right hand side
