I am pondering the install of a D3 in my new (to me) Infiniti QX4.. what I need to find out is if anyone knows where I can get a dbl din dash kit for this vehicle.. I'm considering modifiying a single din kit but want to make sure and get a superb look..

I thought that truck was a double din. That's the one based on the pathfinder right?

I just installed a D3 on my 2004 Pathfinder LE which has the same radio as yours. Right now I am tossing some ideas around to try and fill Gap around radio and trim. Let me know what you come up with..... I too and thinking about modifying the single din.

yeah it's dbl din.. My local audio pro's just used abs on an audi that I saw and I wasn't extremely impressed by the look.. So i'm kind of concerned bcause I don't want a ghetto fab look in my Q

I think I am going to order the Din kit and try to cut the bottom tray out and see how that turns out... I'll keep you posted.
