Hi, i burned a copy of the original nav disk and put into the D3 and then it went into updating program screen, and then show the map. When i turn off and turn on car again, it now displays the "Insert Appropriate disc". I put the original one back on and still shows "Insert Appropriate disc"

Help anybody?

I think that means you have the wrong disc in there. There's a east and west disc. You have to look at the pic on the orginal disc to see which one you need. I'm in MO and I figured I'd be on the east disc but actually MO is the cut off for the west disc.

I'm in CA and pop in the west disk. Everything was working fine until i pop in the burn copy of the west disk and now it won't read either one. Anyhelp appreciated.

Bad burn maybe. You might check on here for other threads on how to get into the service menu and clear everything out, then put your original back in

Someone's found the service menu for the d3? Or is it the same as the d1/2. I must havve missed that post, and I thouht I read them all...

Hasn't been said yet, you didn't miss anything. Its likely the same as the other avics though

Hmm I guess I'ma gonna hava try it on mya displa tamarra.

So where is the service menu on the other units, i tried search but i didnt get anything, let me know how to get to it and ill check it out right now.
