Navigation Video out to another display, Possible w/ D3?

I was wondering if this is possible? I've searched and didn't find anything on this topic yet. Reason being is that where my headunit is placed is a little low for viewing maps and I'd constantly be looking up and down. I'd rather display it on a monitor at a better viewing angle.

Is it possible to output the Navigation to another screen then?

yes it is possible. Just use your AV out rcas, and connect it to an external monitor.

Oh cool. Just wanted to confirm because I know the Kenwood 7100 did not allow you to do this.

why not just put an s1 on you dash then, and be done with it

D3 does not send navigation display to a rear monitor

I have a Z1, and I can do it. I figure the D3 would be the same.

The D3 will send Video to the external monitors but it will not send Nav info to them. I have 2 headrest monitors and have already tried to do it.

Since you didn't listen to me, listen to him. It will NOT send nav to other monitors. Please don't guess the answer and post it on the forum, there are plenty of people here than know the correct answer

yeah, I guess you are right.

Actually I have a D3 as well in my other car(mostly weekend driver), but I dont have an external monitor setup like I do for my Z1.
