Hey All, I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the speed sensing wire on a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX.

I looked it up and found the following:

Control Lever: 250-3421

Adapter: NOT NEEDED

VSS Wire: LOCATION 3- 3 CONNECTORS ON ECM MIDDLE CONNECTOR

VSS Wire Color: GREEN/YELLOW

VSS Pulse: 4000

VSS Tach Wire: LOCATION 16- AT COIL

Tach Signal Wire Color: RED

Brake Switch Positive: WHITE/BLACK

Brake Switch Negative: BLUE/YELLOW

But I'm unsure of where exactly the position is and where to start looking for it under the dash. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to be installing a AVIC D3.

SUBARU, IMPREZA, 2003, Speed Sense

On the non-turbo models the vss is in pin 10 of the 20 pin plug. On the turbo models the vss is in pin 1 of the 22 pin plug.

The vss wire is also found behind the instrument cluster in the 10 pin plug.
