new to the site and i think it's great!!, two quick questions:

1) first my sirius cuts in and out seems like when ever it wants, it has power and all the wires are correct, the weather were i live has been great and i've had sirius before and didn't have this problem could it be that my PNR-2 module is bad right out the box? any soultions or ideas?

2) is there any way to change the way siruis is set up on the d2, all the presets just say simply preset 1....etc. aswell as no direct entry to stations. is this because of the software limitations of the d2 or is the problem with sirius.

happy to say that i found my problem..

unfortunaly i have a short in my satilite antenna wire. can these wires be spliced?

pleased don't tell me that i have to re-run my antenna!!

you can splice yes, but obviously it wont be as good as a solid strand. the unit doesnt store names of the channels, only preset 1 preset 2, ect..

It is possible to splice the antenna back together if you can find the break in it. It's not an easy task though. the center conductor is EXTREMELY thin. You also have to make sure that the ground sheild doesn't end up touching the center conductor at all oherwise the antenna will not work.
