When you select point of interest (or just typing in an address) and type in a destination, it will finish the rest of the name according to what letters you have typed in already (follow me?). How do you select the word that it finishes for you? Please let me know if I need to explain better. Thanks.

You can't.

It'll finish the word based on what it knows.

Meaning if you want to type Quiznos and you type

Q-U

It'll automatically put Q-U-I because it only has words in its database that start with Q-U-I.

You get what I'm saying?

I agree, even the input letters on the qwerty keyboard gets blacked out so you cant input any other letters except whats in the data base.

to select the word it finishes for you, hit OK on the bottom left of the screen. This will allows you to fill in the other needed info before it finishes,

Yeah, I know that. What I was asking is how do you just select the whole word that it enters?

If you hit "OK", it will simply search for the letters you typed, not the ones it entered for you. For instance, the other day I typed in "Andretti Speed Lab". When I got to "ANDR" the rest automaticly popped up because it has been entered before. If you hit "OK" when the rest of the word pops up, it will search for "ANDR" and not "Andretti Speed Lab".

I guess SportsFan21 answered it for me though....You cant.....which sucks....

If it finishes the word for you and you need to enter more words, I think just hitting the space button will finish the word and allow you to type more.

No it does that for me all the time and I never put the city in.

hm... maybe address search and POI search are different because when I want it to finish the predicted word, I just hit OK.
