Installed my AVIC-N3 Brain with N2 Headunit!

Well I finally got the Avic-N3 brain that I bought and I installed it today and I am happy to finally have the enhanced graphics for the IPOD and XM radio! I want to thank everyone who told me it would work. It worked like a charm. I have an N3 and it only costed a little under 300 bucks.

Hey new to the site, I own a AVIC-N2 and unless i misunderstood, I can buy a N3 Brain and run it on my N2?

yes, but you should get new map dics too.

Yeah, I should have said that, I already had the N3 discs. I am pretty sure you need both the brain and the discs.

So basically what does the N3 do that the N2 cant, and where and for how much can I get the brain and the discs? Thanks for the help in advance =]

i have been lookin at upgradin my n2 to an n3 with new brain and discs, did you do the simple switch under sticker and the ground, or was there nore involved, i cant live without my bypass

i just did the same thing. i now have the N2 unit and N3 brain, but it seems like the CD-IB100 doesn't work on N3? it was working on my N2 brain before. also ... eversince i replace the brain to N3, my radio doesn'

t output any sound.

is there anything that i can do to fix the radio problem?

I'd try to taking the battery off for 10 minutes and letting the systems reboot. Hopefully that should work, if not who knows

I just replaced my N2 brain with a new N3 brain and now my system is not working right. the touch screen is not reacting and I can't change any of the settings....

PLEASE HELP!!! :shock:

about the cdnb100 go into your setup menu and turn aux on
