whats up i have a d2 that was manufactured in 1/2007 the bypass works when it wants or is played with there was a rumor about the date makes a difference in doing the bypass i tryed grounding the empty spot and putting a switch on the parking switch to ground i also wait untill the unit is powered up before turning swich on help please

Punctuation is your friend. It doesn't matter when it was made, the bypass is same for all D1s and D2s. Ground the parking brake and the wire you moved to the empty spot. Its that simple
