Just trying to see how many d3's are backordered from crutchfield. Who are sticking it out with crutchfield? I'm almost going on my second week of waiting. This is killing me. Everything else is in my hands except the d3.
I asked this question of a CF salesperson, and when she looked it up, she claimed about 120 backorders....that probably means if you ordered it today, you won't be in the next batch they get in.

Ordered last Saturday. Talked with a rep on Cructhfield chat earlier and he said there was no ETA.

Man. you would think that a known company like that and with so many orders, they would have something worked out with pioneer to get more shipments quicker. Beginning to mid april? That's ridiculous. Guess I'm gonna be waiting another couple of weeks.
i think we should all just cancel our orders and ordert from www.abtelectronics.com theyll match crutchfields prices!!! im sure theyll get them in sooner

Our locak dealer was ablte to get us one in 3 days. Called him u on wenesday and we picked it up today. 775, cant beat that. He had to order it from Pioneer like anyone one else so I dont understand why it takes so long for crutchfield.
way more people ordering for cruthfield probably. 775 is one heck of a price. Is that including or excluding tax?
There are so many reasons to wait for CF. Free harness and install kit, smoking deal with backup camera. I also used a discount code. Free shipping as well and no tax to my state. While I could have maybe got some of the accessories "slightly" cheaper somewhere else even after the discount, CF is a great company and a 30 day moneyback guarantee and free tech support and decent install guides.
My sales guy was great and very helpful. Tracked down everything I requested. When my discount code didn't process correctly (i.e. I was charged full price for the accesories covered) they gave me a bigger credit than the original discount AND threw in a $30 coupon for my next order.
Even if it takes and extra day or two (even week) I am not going to die if my HU doesn't come in. It gives me a bit more time to plan out the install and how to hook up the Sirius, XM and Traffic, BT, rear camera, iPod, SWIPS and video to it. I have obtained the service manuals so I can find all the appropriate wires to tap into and I'll be ready to go about the time it gets here. Meanwhile my parts of my order are already arriving which of course makes me want the D3 to show up too but I'll be patient. I'd be a fool to bail out now.
