he tried bypassing it several times, Flashing it, grounding it even sending power in some of the empty pins. Took off all stickers on unit thinking there was a switch or jumper. Roomer has it that we need to use resistors in one of the empty pins and feed it power. The AVIC-Z1 and Z2 are'nt the same...... if any one figure out how to by pass it let us know....
