I know the d3 is not listed as a multi zone unit, but is there any update or modification that can be done to make it one?

if had an external dvd player with a few av outputs that you hooked a set thru the a/v inputs on the D3 and then run another set to another screen that has a/v inputs

no, what I mean is can the people in the back watch a movie and everyone else listen to the radio or ipod?

The Z units are multizone capable.

yuo can use external monitors but the same sound must play through all of them
