if i was to put a toggle switch inline with the d3 i would do the bypass (mute wire move to top pin then ground ebrake wire)

i put the toggle in line with the ebrake wire corect?

one side of the wire come from the D3 into the toggle then oppoite end going from toggle 2 ground

Are you trying to make it so that you can disable the bypass? This kinda intrigues me. But I must ask....what is the point? Maybe to disable the bypass in the presence of cops? What you're suggesting does sound about right. Please someone second that. This might come in useful.

You would probably be better off hitting the source knob if you were sitting next to a cop. And yes, a switch on the light green wire will work

How many cops or going to check if your unit is bypassed? Im willing to bet absolutely none.

probably not many after seein the state police stickers on my car but i will know i can jus flip the switch... i mean how many people have a dvd in dash that is not bypassed??? even like jensens ahha its liek probably 70 percent of all have it bypassed

yeah thast why i never understood anyone that would want a toggle switch for disabling the bypass.

If you get pulled over by the cops, you dont leave your car on, so the unit wont be powered to even start this scenario of a cop finding out.
