I just bought a new 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the single CD player with the Boston Acoustic speaker system. I want to install a D3 in the dash. Has anyone tried to do this or have any information on custom dash kits that would make this possible?

I believe you can buy the OEM bezel for the models that came with navi from the dealership (or maybe online.) I have seen an SRT8 with a Z1 in it. Looks good

Do you know if the factory Nav system is a double din system? I heard it was bigger.

you still need to make a bezel even with the factory nav panel, the opening is way too big

Order the factory navi bezel. Then get a 99-6510. That's the metra kit to put a double din in with the factory nav bezel. You'll also want to pick up a canbus interface to make your wiring a hell of a lot easier to do.
