It usually takes a couple months after the navi models ship before they start selling the disks seperately

i spoke to pioneer rep they said may 24!!! is when they will release the update disk

Do they update the software of the nav unit as well with these updated disks?

how much do they cost? or can u get them updated online for free or anything?

$250 for a map is just...you know, cruel. a map from the gas station is like...$2.

i have a gas station just down my street that closed down like...six months ago, but for some reason my map says it's there...even though it's supposed to be dated january. *shrug*

The CNDV70 will be the same mapping that you have now. Return it if you hate it that much, will be another year til you see the 08 update

Our rep today said end of july or early august til the CNDV70s ship for those who are asking

Its like Pioneer wants to force us to purchase new hardware for updated maps
