Sad times.... Finally my z1 arrived and when the ups man came to the door i almost hugged him. :D This is the happy side....

I think they played football with my stereo!!! As soon as i picked up the box i heard a rattling sound, this caused my kidneys to find their way to my throught. I ran inside and opened the box. The screen was broken, or cracked at least. And the unit itself was all scuffed up. It seriously looked like it was used as a soccer ball on a concrete floor!!!!
So i call ups ad they asked if the box looked damaged or just the unit.. that was a nifty question. The box looked fine, both the external shipping box and the pioneer box... hhmmm....
so i called pioneer and explained my sad story. To my suprise they are shipping me a new one as we speak and are even paying for postage. They are even sending a return shipping label for me to send the old one back.


So yippee i get a new one for free,,,, but bummer now i have to wait all over again.... aarrrggghhhh!!!!

i recently ordered a custom box for my trunk. well it seems like they used the box that contained the product as a standing stool or sitting chair. it was crushed down. the box was about 1.75 ft squared all around. the item inside was damaged. so i got the company i ordered from to take care of it but now i am still waiting for the new one. he wanted me to send the old one back. i just got an email and they said the box looked like they trashed it.

boooo and hisssss to UPS delivery service.

Pull the hard drive out and image it with ghost first.

dang duuude, ups has now delayed my z1. ups sucks hard core.

NEVER, EVER use ground shipping when you buy something this expensive and delicate. It gets handled too many times and spends too much time getting beat up over the road. ALWAYS spring for air freight. It's only handled a couple of times and doesn't get beat up by every pot hole in the highway. AND....you don't have to wait as long!!

i finally got the z1 in my hand. dang too forever!!
