If I upgrade my N2 to N3 without doing the bypass first can

If I upgrade my N2 to N3 with new maps disk without doing the bypass first can I still do the solder bypass after the upgrade or do I have to do it before I put in the N3 disks on the N2?

doesnt matter the order in which you do it.
